Meet the Coaches:
Coach Anthony Medina
Anthony lettered in basketball at The Woodlands HS, graduating in 2005. After playing one season at Montgomery College, Anthony attended Cedar Valley College (2007-08) and was a key member of their 17-13 campaign. Anthony has 2 years eligibility remaining, and is currently undecided about where he will play next season.
While at Cedar Valley College, Anthony was placed twice on the President’s List for Academic Excellence. Anthony was also a 2-time recipient of the Metro Athletic Conference Chancellor’s Award in recognition of academic and athletic achievement.
Anthony’s coaching experience includes TWHS summer camps, North Houston Mavericks AAU, and numerous local recreation leagues. Anthony joined the CUTtheNETS™ staff during its inception in 2006, and continues to coach when school and basketball do not interfere. Anthony organized CUTtheNETS™ winter ballhandling clinics attracting over 100 players in the north Houston area. He is also a coach at the Duke Basketball Summer Camp program.
Anthony plays college basketball at the University of St. Thomas for Head Coach Todd Smith. Anthony continues to coach at CUTtheNETS™ during his college playing career.
